A train on the Mittenwaldbahn, a railway with very nice views, as it passes over a gorge. It takes an hour longer to get to Munich this way but the scenery is definitely worth doing it once.
After the Kulturwanderweg in Reith (see above post) I stayed on the trail to hike for a few hours more.
